TAVERNA – SILA PICCOLA

Day trip, available on request. 08.00 am departure for Taverna, home of Mattia Preti, prominent painter of the seventeenth century. Visit of the Civic Museum where valuable works by masters and artists of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries are collected. Stop for lunch (optional) based on typical local products and departure for the Sila Piccola, beautiful and extensive Mediterranean scrub, rich in woods with flourishing vegetation. Arrival at Villaggio Mancuso, where Monaco is the “Monaco” Visitor Centre, a modern multi-purpose complex surrounded by nature. Return at about 5.30 pm.Sabato
